Fortinet Accelerate 2025
Motion · Brand Systems · Event
Fortinet’s creative team developed the visual identity for Accelerate 2025 and brought me in to figure out how that identity could come to life through motion. I developed the motion language and key deliverables across the event ecosystem, then built After Effects templates so an external agency could carry the system forward.
01 — The Starting Point
Fortinet’s static identity was built around a modular geometric framework, with a range of layouts, symbols, and colorways. My challenge was to translate those elements into motion without losing the structure of the original system.
Their creative team gave me the brand guidelines they had developed for the static identity, and I took it from there.
02 — Building the Motion Language
I explored how the shapes could move, interact, and transition while maintaining the visual rhythm of the existing identity. The result was a flexible motion language that could adapt to different formats, content, and colorways.
The system needed to work everywhere the Accelerate brand showed up—from social and email to presentations, keynote content, web, and the physical event. Each application required its own composition, but the underlying motion language kept the experience cohesive.
03 — One system, many applications
04 — Built for handoff
I also built a set of After Effects templates that captured the motion system in a format another agency could easily pick up. The templates allowed them to create the smaller deliverables while maintaining the same visual language and animation principles.
I took an established static identity and developed a motion system that could flex across an entire event ecosystem, from social ads and email to keynote presentations and physical experiences. Alongside the key deliverables, I created the templates and framework needed for another team to continue producing within the system.
